Dosing for Consumption
For adults: 1 tbsp of Mitigate Stress Mg Bicarbonate
For kids: 2+ dilute the serving to 1/2 adult portion
For kids <2, I recommend bathing in Magnesium / chatting with your pediatric provider about amounts
For Pregnancy: 350-400mg / day (sometimes more! Stress depletes magnesium & pregnancy is a chronic state of stress)
For Breastfeeding: ~320mg / day
Bathing in Magnesium
I love offering both my kids (1 & 5) pure Magnesium via baths as the skin absorbs it. It’s also incredibly calming for eczema-prone kids.
Bathing Instructions
Add 1-2 cups magnesium bath flakes to a small baby bath with warm (not hot) water.
Duration: 10-20 minutes will do
Post magnesium bath, pat to dry the skin gently.
Follow up within a few minutes with a fragrance-free, non-toxic moisturizer / tallow balm (we like a pure, unscented tallow balm).
Why Oral & Bathing Approaches Work Together

Magnesium Lychee Spritzer Recipe
Servings: 1 large glass
3 fresh lychee, peeled and pitted (about 40g) — potassium + vitamin C source
8 oz (240 ml) chilled sparkling mineral water (preferably with natural calcium & magnesium. I like Gerolsteiner) — adds calcium & magnesium base
1 tbsp Mitigate Stress Magnesium Bicarbonate / “Master Mineral Drink” (about 350 mg magnesium) — highly bioavailable magnesium bicarbonate for cellular hydration
Small pinch unrefined sea salt (Celtic, Maldon, or Redmond, ~1/16 tsp) — balances sodium-potassium pump for hydration
Optional:
squeeze of lime– vitamin C boost + extra flavor
4 oz (120 ml) cold filtered water — helps dilute mineral concentration for absorption
1 tsp raw honey — natural carbohydrate for electrolyte uptake, antioxidant
Directions
Add pitted lychee to the bottom of a large glass.
Optional: Add honey and lime juice, stir to dissolve.
Pour in sparkling water & optional cold filtered water.
Stir in Mitigate Stress magnesium bicarbonate and sea salt until fully dissolved.
Enjoy immediately for best fizz and nutrient preservation.
Why the pinch of sea salt?
